Who We Are
The mission of the Danville Neighborhood Development Corporation (DNDC) is to improve the quality of life of Danville residents by empowering neighbors and community associations, encouraging local investment, and building neighborhoods of opportunity and choice.
What We Do
Mission 180 is a 3-prong initiative designed to turnaround housing and market conditions in strategic neighborhoods of Danville, Virginia.
Where We Work
The DNDC is piloting Mission 180 on the 100 and 200 blocks of Kemper Road. This street borders Danville Community College (DCC) and is an artery to the Druid Hills and Schoolfield neighborhoods. The community that surrounds Kemper Road is unnamed, yet also tied to the stability of other adjacent neighborhoods, namely, the West End (south of Averett University), Almagro, and Grove Park.
